MISSION STATEMENT

"The mission of Keene High School is to cultivate the academic, civic, and social growth of all students to empower them to become contributing members of the global community.”

New England Music Festival Needs Host Families!!

I write to you as the Housing Coordinator for the upcoming New England Music Festival which will bring 460 music students to Keene High School to perform in a band, orchestra, or chorus concert on Saturday, March 21, 2015.  These students will be in Keene for two nights and need housing.  I am writing to ask you to consider housing some students or share this with your friends, family, or neighbors to spread the word that we are seeking the community’s help finding housing for these young people.

The students are coming from all six New England states!

Your responsibilities are itemized in the attached letter – two nights of housing (3/19 & 3/20), two breakfasts, one dinner, and some transportation.  We need to place at least two students in a home.  (They can sleep in a bed, sofa bed, cot, or air mattress – they’re teenagers!)  If you have the room, you can take more than 2J

Call Sue Newcomer with questions.  You MUST fill out  the attached forms.   THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL MARCH 5, 2015 IN ORDER TO FIND ENOUGH HOST HOMES!

Note: We are desperately seeking host homes for these teenagers who have auditioned for this prestigious music festival.  If you have any questions, please call Sue Newcomer (603-363-8338 or 603-381-8392).

Thank you!

Susan Newcomer (and Tom Martin)
